Funeral Leave

Milwaukee Code of Ordinances 350-35(5)

Funeral leave may be used for time away from work due to the death of an immediate family member.  Immediate family member is defined as the husband, wife, child, brother, sister, parent, stepparent, grandparent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, or grandchild of the employee.  Funeral leave may be granted for up to five 8-hour days unless otherwise stated in a labor agreement.
