2021 HUD Reporting Documents
In accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City of Milwaukee has prepared and submitted to HUD a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) covering the City’s Community Development Program from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020. This report is to be used by HUD in reviewing program performance as well as considering the City’s program for continued funding.

In accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City of Milwaukee has prepared and submitted to HUD a Five Year Consolidated Plan for Funding Years 2020-2024. The Consolidated Plan allows local jurisdictions and citizens the opportunity to shape the various housing and community development programs into effective, coordinated neighborhood and community development strategies.

The Consolidated Plan includes the Funding Allocation Plan with approved funding categories for Funding Year 2021. The Funding Allocation Plan incorporates strategic direction for the following grants: Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships, Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).

The Consolidated Plan also includes the Regional Analysis of Impediments which examines policies, practices, and local housing market characteristics that may be preventing individuals from accessing fair housing. This document also suggests strategies communities may wish to consider to help document progress and milestones in removing them.
