The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), along with study partners Milwaukee County and the City of Milwaukee, are collaboratively working on a study for WIS 175 between Wisconsin Avenue and Lisbon Avenue.
This kick-off meeting is an opportunity to comment on the existing highway and to help identify community priorities for improving WIS 175 (Stadium Freeway). The Washington Park Plan was based on work undertaken by Washington Park Partners (WPP) that preceded this planning effort. WPP created a quality of life plan entitled Planning for Hope which identified many of the strengths, opportunities and challenges of the area. WPP heavily engaged the community in its process to gain insight into the concerns of the residents.
