New Markets Tax Credit Program

The New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) Program provides investors with a 39 percent federal tax credit over a 7 year period for making qualified equity investments in designated Community Development Entities (CDEs). A CDE is an organization whose primary mission is serving or providing investment capital to benefit low-income persons or low-income communities. The most up to date recipients of NMTC Allocations can be found at https://www.cdfifund.gov/faq.
