Development Team Selected for Freshwater Plaza Lot 4 RFP
The Harbor District is growing with new development and investment in the area
MILWAUKEE – The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (RACM) has selected Rule Enterprises, LLC for the development of the parcel at 200 East Greenfield Avenue, Lot 4 at Freshwater Plaza in the Harbor District. A Request for Proposal was issued in May of 2022. The full development proposal will be considered by the Milwaukee Common Council at upcoming committee hearings.
As the Harbor District is growing with new investment in the area, this 88,758 square foot parcel at Freshwater Plaza will provide a future development with great access to Downtown, Bay View, the Harbor, and the interstate. This neighborhood remains home to many of the City's industrial employers and marine businesses. This area is continuing to grow and transform with new companies like Komatsu Mining Corporation, Michels, The DeLong Co., Inc., and more.
“The significant momentum in the Harbor District is creating exciting new opportunities for residents, businesses, and workers,” said Milwaukee City Development Commissioner Lafayette Crump. “Rule Enterprises is a respected development partner in the city and I am looking forward to working together to realize the full potential of Freshwater Plaza.”
