Milwaukee Water Works
Our water treatment plant on Milwaukee's north shore of Lake Michigan marked its 80th year of continuous service on July 2, 2019. The professionalism and dedication of decades of Milwaukee Water Works employees, consultants, and contractors and the guidance of elected City of Milwaukee officials have ensured its reliable service.
And for that service, the Linnwood Water Treatment Plant is recognized as a historically significant and iconic structure in the City of Milwaukee and as a national AWWA Water Landmark.
