An owner-occupant is an individual(s) that will purchase the City property and make it their primary residence. The deed restriction for owner occupancy is 3 years unless the buyer uses City financing as part of the purchase. The financing will require additional years of occupancy.
If the buyer breaches the owner's occupancy restrictive covenant, the buyer will have to pay liquidated damages in the amount of $25,000 or the purchase price, whichever is greater.
