Milwaukee Lakefront Gateway Project:
Public Information Meeting 3


On Tuesday, April 21th, 2015, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, in coordination with the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County, hosted the third Public Information Meeting on the design developments for the Lakefront Gateway project planned for the downtown lakefront.

Purpose of the Meeting
The second Lakefront Gateway Public Involvement Meeting was held on Tuesday, May 13th, 2014. This third meeting further commu­nicated the area’s development plans.
Displays include:
  1. Preferred alternative for the roadway layout
  2. Development of bicycle / pedestrian facilities
  3. Stormwater best management practice opportunities
  4. Streetscape and Landscape Master Plan
  5. Design details of key project elements
  6. Traffic operations
  7. Lakefront Gateway Plaza design competition overview
