MILWAUKEE – Following the Food & Drug Administration’s (FDA) authorization and recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Milwaukee Health Department COVID-19 clinics will begin administering second doses of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna or Pfizer) to eligible individuals.
The recommendation states the following individuals may receive a second booster dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least four months after receiving a first booster dose:
The second booster doses, along with first, second, and first booster doses, are available for free without an appointment at the Northwest Health Center, Southside Health Center, and Menomonee Valley Site. The full hours of operation for each site is available at Milwaukee.gov/covidvax.
