City of Milwaukee Health Department Back to School Health Fair
MILWAUKEE – Gear up for the upcoming school year at the 23rd annual City of Milwaukee Health Department’s Back to School Health Fair! This year’s event provides free school-required and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-recommended vaccinations and school supplies, all in one convenient stop. Attendees can also connect with a range of community services and partners.
School-required and CDC-recommended vaccines being offered at the event include:
- TdaP
- DTap
- Polio
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Hib
- HPV
- MMR
- Varicella (chickenpox)
- Meningococcal
- Pneumococcal
- COVID-19
Rain or shine, the fair will feature free food from Pete’s Pops and a selection of food trucks, including KT’s Wok, Twisted Plants, and I’ll Take a Bite of That. Families can also enjoy free activities such as roller skating and field games facilitated by Milwaukee County Parks and Recreation, chalk art facilitated by Marina Lee, face painting and glitter tattoos by Diana’s Snazy Face Painting, and exploring City vehicles from the Milwaukee Fire Department, Milwaukee Police Department, and Milwaukee Department of Public Works.
Families attending this year’s event will also be entered to win free giveaways to the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Milwaukee County Zoo, the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, and a Milwaukee Brewers baseball game.
