Mayor Johnson Tours New Draft & Co. Downtown

I had the pleasure of touring Draft & Co., the newest concept from the owners of Draft & Vessel, now open daily at Vel R. Phillips Plaza on the corner of 5th Street and Wisconsin Avenue. This location is a perfect fit, breathing new life into a space that was once just a surface parking lot.

The Plaza has become a vibrant downtown destination to visit, gather, and enjoy this incredible part of our city. I couldn’t image a better way to honor the late Vel R. Phillips during Black History Month than by checking out this incredible space that celebrates her legacy and continues to build momentum for our city’s downtown. I encourage everyone to stop by, explore, and enjoy all that the Plaza and Draft & Co. have to offer.
