Because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, guided tours of City Hall and the City Hall bell tower are NOT BEING OFFERED until further notice.
During normal operating conditions, there is a guided bell tower tour at noon on the second and fourth Wednesday, from late June until early October. Tour size is limited to 20 persons and sign-up is required. The tour will typically start at the information booth in the first floorrotunda at City Hall, 200 E. Wells St. and a signed waiver form is required to climb into the bell tower. All minors must be accompanied by an adult and have a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian.
The bell tower tour does involve a fair amount of climbing and portions of it are exposed to the elements, so weather-appropriate dress is strongly advised.
Please check back to this webpage for any changes or updates regarding guided tours of City Hall and/or the City Hall bell tower.
