Community Assistance

Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful

• Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful supplies bags and loans tools to groups hosting cleanups. Register to host a cleanup and reserve your supplies online.

Donation Options

• Many Milwaukee shelters and organizations accept new and gently-used donations of clothing, shoes, homegoods, furnishings, building materials and other items. Some organizations also offer pick up services. Consider some of these donation options before scheduling your weekend box.

City Assistance

Drop Off Centers

• Collected garbage can be set out with your regular trash (if less than 1 cubic yard), or taken to a Drop Off Center.

Clean and Green - Spring Program

• On a neighborhood's Clean & Green Week, any amount of additional garbage can be set out for free collection. Consider coordinating your cleanup to be right before this special Clean & Green week.

Neighborhood Cleanup Dumpsters 

• A limited number of dumpsters are available from Sanitation for use by organized neighborhood cleanups. These are NOT for individuals. Dumpsters are dropped off by 10 AM and are collected by 4 PM on Saturdays between late April and the end of June. Reservations opened March 2nd and are available first come-first served.
