Household Hazardous Waste

City of Milwaukee residents should dispose of their Household Hazardous Waste through the program operated by Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD).  This program, operated through MMSD, is open to all Milwaukee County residents.

Household Hazardous Waste products DO NOT belong in your recycling or trash bins, however EMPTY containers may be recycled (most empty plastic containers) or landfilled (empty containers that held gasoline or oil).

Collection Sites

Milwaukee County residents can use any permanent or mobile collection site.

Milwaukee

  • South Drop Off Center - 3879 W Lincoln Avenue

    • Thursday - Saturday, 7 AM - 3 PM

    • NOT AVAILABLE at North Drop Off Center

  • 6060 S. 13th St. (just north of College Ave.)

    • Tuesday (11 AM - 6 PM)

    • Saturday (8 AM - 2 PM)
