Freecycle - Join the Milwaukee network, moderated by local volunteers, to give away or get free items from neighbors in the community.
Goodwill - Accepts wide variety of household items. Review their list of accepted and unaccepted items for drop off at a store near you.
Meta House - Accepts new and gently-used hobby, household, and personal care items. Review wish list or call for information before drop off.

Milwaukee Public Library - Accepts donated books written within the last 10 years. Books may be put into the collection or sold to the public to raise funds.
Habitat for Humanity Restore - Accepts new and used homegoods, cabinetry, building supplies, etc. Deconstruction and pick up services available for large donations.
Purple Heart Service Foundation - Accepts clothing, shoes, toys, and other household items. Contact group to determine if pick up available in your area.
