Energy, in all its forms, is a necessity for modern life in Milwaukee, yet overusing fossil fuels to meet our energy needs contributes to global climate change. Climate change presents real threats to Wisconsin’s economy, including an increased risk of extreme storms and flooding.
Milwaukee is taking bold action to reach its climate goals through sustainability plans that prioritize energy efficiency and renewable energy, nature-based solutions, community advocates, conscious waste management, water protection, and clean transportation and mobility options.
