Complaint Process Community Meeting with FPC Investigators

Join the Fire & Police Commission (FPC) Investigators as they explain the complaint process and answer questions from the community. The meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, February 24th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Questions and comments for the FPC Investigators can be submitted through the FPC public comment form

FPC Community Meeting with Acting Chief Aaron Lipski from MFD

The Fire & Police Commission (FPC) is hosting a community meeting on Wednesday, January 27th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm with Acting Chief Aaron Lipski of the Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) to brief the community on goals for the department in the new year. Questions and comments for Acting Chief Lipski can be submitted to the FPC through the public comment form. 

Community Meeting for Appointees to the FPC

A community meeting will be held for the appointees to the Executive Director and Commissioner roles, Leon Todd and Amanda Avalos respectively, and the reappointment of Commissioner Ann Wilson on Saturday December 12th, from 10 am to 1 pm. To participate and submit questions, click here.

Chief of Police Candidate Survey

The Fire & Police Commission (FPC) has narrowed down their national search for the next Chief of the Milwaukee Police Department to the top three candidates. The candidates have gone through interviews with the majority of the Board of the FPC and have now completed two community meetings (First & Second meeting recordings can be found on Legistar). In an effort to further engage the community, the FPC will be gathering data on the questions below, to be reviewed by FPC Commissioners in their selection of the next Chief of Police. 

The FPC will collect submission until Monday, November 30th at 12:00 pm. 

*If you received and completed this survey after either of the two community meetings, please DO NOT submit another survey. Your data has already been collected. 

Chief of Police Candidates' Community Meetings

The FPC will be holding two virtual community meetings with the top three candidates for Chief of Police on Saturday, November 7th and Saturday, November 21st. Both meetings will occur from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
