Project Overview

The City of Milwaukee’s “rapid implementation” initiative builds quick, low-cost street improvements to increase the safety and comfort of people walking, biking, and driving.

The project consists of concrete curb extensions and high-visibility crosswalks placed on selected intersections on E. Kenwood Boulevard. and N. Downer Avenue.
