- Alley – Reconstruction of City of Milwaukee alleyways in concrete or permeable pavement.
- Bridge – Rehabilitation or reconstruction of City of Milwaukee bridges.
- Green Infrastructure – Project ¬designed to capture, absorb and store rain and melting snow.
- Park – Maintenance of existing or creation of new MKE City Park
- Sewer – Relays, lateral grouting and linings
- Street Lighting – Transition to LED lights, pole replacements or carbon reduction projects
- Street Paving – Street reconstruction, replacement and overlay projects of concrete or asphalt
- Traffic Safety – Project primarily driven by increasing the safety of those using the street, including projects from Safe Routes programs, intersection improvements, Community-Led Traffic Calming, etc.
- Planning – Project is queued and/or funded. Neither the design process nor public involvement has started.
- Design – Design plans for the project are underway, and public involvement has begun or will begin shortly. During public involvement, residents will be shown potential designs and asked for their feedback.
- Pending Construction – Design plans are complete, and the project is being let for construction bid.
- Active Construction – Construction is underway. For larger projects, residents can subscribe for updates on the project webpage linked in the listing.
- Completed – Project is complete.
- Protected Bikeway - Projects contains infrastructure that creates biking lane(s) that are separated from people driving.
- Traffic Calming - Projects contains infrastructure designed to reduce the speeds of people driving and make the street safer for all users.
- Green Infrastructure – Project contains elements designed to capture, absorb and store rain and melting snow. GI can be a component of other project types, as shown in this toggle, or GI projects can be capital-funded independent of other work, as show in the GI project type.
