Project Summary

West Bolivar Avenue (from 20th to 27th)

This project involves the area on West Bolivar Avenue from South 20th Street to South 27th Street. Work includes removing the existing pavement surface and replacing it with a new layer of asphalt. Curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches will be replaced where necessary due to grade and/or condition. The contractor began work on June 1st. The project is expected to be completed by the end of August.

Project Update:  September 15, 2010

The asphalt resurfacing project on West Bolivar Avenue from South 20th Street to South 27th Street has been completed. The existing pavement surface was removed and replaced with a new layer of asphalt. Curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches were replaced where necessary due to grade and/or condition. The construction is done and the street is open to traffic.
