Historic Third Ward Sewer Project

Project Summary

The Department of Public Works (DPW) Environmental Section/Underground Operations is responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of the City's sewer mains, manholes, catch basins and storm inlets. In the Spring and Summer of 2016, combined sewers and sanitary sewer linings will be replaced in several locations in the Historic Third Ward (HTW). The Milwaukee Water Works (MWW) will also replace water mains.
