Attorneys

Attorneys in the City Attorney’s Office provide legal counsel to City departments and represent the City in litigation and administrative proceedings. Work may include legal research and writing, court appearances, ordinance and policy review, contract review, and advising City leadership and staff on legal requirements and risk management.

Paralegals & Legal Support Staff

Paralegals and legal support staff assist attorneys in case preparation, document management, filings, correspondence, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records. These roles are essential to the office’s efficiency, responsiveness, and professional standards.

Administrative and Operations Support

Administrative professionals support office operations and coordination, including communications, customer service, intake, scheduling, and maintaining organized workflows that enable timely legal work.

Law Clerk, Internship, and Externship Opportunities

The City Attorney’s Office may offer law clerk, internship, or externship opportunities depending on operational need and available supervision. These roles can provide exposure to municipal law practice, including legal research, writing, observation of hearings, and support for assigned projects.
