The Neighborhood Revitalization, Ordinance Enforcement & Housing practice section focuses on enforcing City ordinances and supporting safe, healthy, and stable neighborhoods. Attorneys in this area work with City departments to address unsafe conditions, nuisance properties, and repeated ordinance violations. A team of municipal prosecutors represents the City in addressing issues like reckless driving, OWIs, and other ordinance violations impacting quality of life. Additionally, this section provides general counsel and litigation support to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee, is counsel to the Milwaukee Ethics Board, and provides advice and litigation support on public records and open meetings issues.
