Hands passing a box full of food donations from one person to another

The City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County hosted an emergency, city-wide food drive to collect non-perishable food items to support local families in need. In partnership with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and Nourish MKE, The City and County collected more than $93,000 in monetary donations and over 9,000 pounds of food.

Now that the federal government has reopened and FoodShare benefits have been restored, the City-County Food Drive's emergency response has ended. However, individuals can still donate monetary gifts through the holiday season.

The City and County thank all partners involved who helped make the drive possible. Thank you!
