The Administrative Services Coordinator tracks state and federal legislation relative to its applicability to the City of Milwaukee and reports lobbying activity performed on behalf of the City of Milwaukee to the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board.
Under the direction of the Information Services Manager, the IT Support Specialist-Lead serves as the primary work group resource in one or more of the specialty areas of support.
Under the direction of the Water Information Technology Manager, the Network Coordinator-Senior manages computer network operations and provides support and documentation of system functionality.
The Program Assistant I provides administrative support to the executive team of the Fire and Police Commission (FPC), including performing payroll duties and monitoring the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) and Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) payroll transactions.
The Program Assistant II provides administrative support for the Bridges and Buildings (B&B) Services Section, including coordinating and administering work orders. This role also serves as the communications dispatcher and front desk staff for the B&B section.
NOTE: Transfer/Promotional Opportunities and Promotional Examinations are not open to Milwaukee Public Schools employees or to the public. Only current City of Milwaukee employees and civilian personnel in MFD and MPD hired through a City Service Commission process who have successfully passed a probationary period for a Civil Service position or who have status as a City of Milwaukee employee in a fixed term position will be considered. Individuals with exempt, provisional, temporary, or emergency appointments are not eligible for transfer.
