Department of Employee Relations
The Finance Specialist processes, generates, and maintains financial and personnel records for the Port of Milwaukee.
LABOR RELATIONS:
The Human Resources professional assists with all Labor Relations matters, including contract negotiations, arbitration proceedings, grievances, research, and other employee relations issues.
COMPLIANCE:
The Human Resources professional handles employee relations investigations and resolutions, conducts compliance training, and oversees unemployment insurance coordination and reporting.
The Tow Lot Supervisor sets the operational direction on all matters related to the intake, processing, storage, release, and disposal of towed vehicles by supervising staff, handles customer complaints, and monitors financial activity.
NOTE: Transfer/Promotional Opportunities and Promotional Examinations are not open to Milwaukee Public Schools employees or to the public. Only current City of Milwaukee employees and civilian personnel in MFD and MPD hired through a City Service Commission process who have successfully passed a probationary period for a Civil Service position or who have status as a City of Milwaukee employee in a fixed term position will be considered. Individuals with exempt, provisional, temporary, or emergency appointments are not eligible for transfer.
