Click4Action Requests Failing to Submit or Addresses Failing to Validate

Updates to the Chrome and Edge browsers may cause problems with using Click4Action.

If you use Chrome or Edge to access Click4Action, please follow the steps below to resolve these problems.

  1. Clear the Chrome or Edge browser cache.
  2. Log out of Click4Action.
    1. Click on the person-shaped icon in the upper right area of the screen.
    2. Select “Log Out” from the menu which appears.
  3. Log back into Click4Action using the green Log In button in the upper right corner of the screen.

Chrome or Edge Local Network Access Prompt Causing Click4Action Display Issues

November 2025 updates to the Chrome and Edge browsers may prevent the map in Click4Action from displaying correctly.

If you use Chrome or Edge to access Click4Action, and you see a message that looks like the one pictured below, select the Allow option.

If you saw this message previously and selected the Block option, follow the steps below to change this setting to enable Click4Action to function correctly.

Chrome Process

  1. In the Chrome browser, type (or copy and paste) the following text into the address bar at the top of the browser window: 

    chrome://flags/#local-network-access-check in 
     
  2. Change the setting for the Local Network Access Checks to Disabled, as shown in the image below.

  3. The change you just made will take effect when you relaunch Chrome. You can do this by clicking the Relaunch button at the bottom of the screen, as shown below, or you can close your Chrome browser and reopen it.

Edge Process

  1. In the Edge browser, type (or copy and paste) the following text into the address bar at the top of the browser window:

    edge://flags/#local-network-access-check
     
  2. Change the setting for the Local Network Access Checks to Disabled.
  3. Click the Restart button in the lower right.

Address Validation

Below are the address formats that must be entered for Click4Action, the MKE Mobile Action app, and the City of Milwaukee Land Management System (LMS).

  • Separate street address, city, state, and zip with a space followed by a comma, as shown in the example below.
    • 2354 N BOOTH ST, MILWAUKEE, WI, 53212-3429
  • If you don't know the zip-4 extension, use  "-0000", as shown in the example below.
    • 9100 W BELOIT RD, MILWAUKEE, WI, 53227-0000
  • If the address has an address suffix of "A," use the format shown in the example below.
    • 428 A E DOVER ST, MILWAUKEE, WI, 53207-2104
  • If there is a unit designation, put it in between commas, as shown in the example below.
    • 2105 N SUMMIT AV,  B-101, MILWAUKEE, WI, 53202-1321
