Visits usually happen in the family's home, but we can also meet at community locations, such as a library or health center, that is more convenient for the family.

Do you offer services in other languages?

We have staff that speak English, Spanish and Hmong, and use interpreters for other languages. We try to use in-person interpreters as often as possible, and also have phone interpreters. We currently have families in the program that speak Spanish, Rohingya, Burmese, Karen, Swahili, Dari, Pashto, and more.

How quickly can someone start the program?

Sometimes we have a waitlist, so it is possible that someone will wait at least a little while before being given a home visitor. We will share information about this with the family when we call, and we have a nurse coordinator who contacts and checks in with people on the waitlist, and is available for questions.
