Milwaukee Safe Sleep Program

About the Program

The Milwaukee Safe Sleep program provides Milwaukee families with Pack ‘n Plays® to help reduce deaths due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and unsafe sleep. Pack ‘n Plays® are provided to families who cannot purchase one and are referred by a community professional, such as a case worker or nurse.

Safe Sleep Classes

**Offered by appointment only**

Schedule:

  • Southside Health Center (1639 S. 23rd Street)
    Multipurpose Room
    • Wednesdays: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Northwest Health Center (7630 W. Mill Road)
    Room 120
    • Fridays: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Pack ‘n Plays® are used because they are portable and can be taken wherever the baby needs to be cared for. Before a family is given a Pack ‘n Play®, the Safe Sleep Program provides education and training on proper sleep position and sleep environment for the baby.
