Program Details
After three pilot studies with over 1.5 million scooter trips, the City of Milwaukee launched a permanent scooter program in May 2024.
Operators were selected through a Request for Proposals. The two selected operators entered into two-year contracts with the City of Milwaukee to operate dockless scooters. Operators must adhere to the program's Terms & Conditions and the following Zone Map.
In addition to the requirements about deploying scooters across Zones 1-6, operators are required to offer an automatic 40% discount for all trips starting in Zones 4 and 5. Spin also offers an automatic 40% discount in Zone 3.
