The Northwest Side represents a transition from the urban character of Milwaukee to the suburban nature of surrounding communities. Easy access to freeways, commercial corridors, and industrial and office parks are among the area’s strengths, as well as the numerous community organizations, businesses and resident groups that contribute to the quality of the neighborhoods.
