Project Overview
The City of Milwaukee’s “rapid implementation” initiative builds quick, low-cost street improvements to increase the safety and comfort of people walking, biking, and driving.
The project consists of protected bikes lanes throughout E. North Avenue from N. Cambridge Avenue to N. Prospect Avenue. The project also includes curb extensions in selected intersections throughout North Avenue.

- N. Cramer St. and E. North Ave
- N. Farwell Ave. and E. North Ave
- N. Prospect Ave. and E. North Ave
- N. Maryland Ave. and N. Prospect Ave.
