NEW DEVELOPMENTS

EAST MICHIGAN STREET – NORTH WATER STREET TO NORTH PLANKINTON AVENUE (4th) (POLICE DISTRICT 1)

It is anticipated that East Michigan Street from North Water Street to North Plankinton Avenue will be closed to traffic from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Saturday, January 16, 2021, weather dependent, for a crane lift.

WEST CENTER STREET – NORTH 29TH STREET TO NORTH 30TH STREET (15TH) (POLICE DISTRICTS 3, 5)
It is anticipated that the traffic pattern of West Center Street from North 29th Street to North 30th Street will change, shifting both directions of travel to the westbound through and curb lanes beginning Monday, January 11, 2021 and extending into mid-February for a sewer project.

EAST MASON STREET – NORTH BROADWAY EAST TO ALLEY BETWEEN NORTH BROADWAY AND NORTH MILWAUKEE STREET (4TH) (POLICE DISTRICT 1)
It is anticipated that East Mason Street from North Broadway east to the alley between North Broadway and North Milwaukee Street will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, January 4, 2021 and ending Friday, February 12, 2021, weather dependent, for a crane.

NORTH MARKET STREET – EAST WELLS STREET TO APPROXIMATELY 200’ NORTH OF EAST WELLS STREET (4TH) (POLICE DISTRICT 1)
It is anticipated that North Market Street will only be accessible to vehicular traffic from East Kilbourn Avenue beginning Saturday, July 18, 2020 and continuing until Summer 2023 for the next phase of the City Hall Foundation Restoration Project. Access to Lower Parking will be maintained for the duration of the closure.

NORTH WATER STREET – EAST WELLS STREET TO EAST KILBOURN AVENUE (4TH) (POLICE DISTRICT 1)
Beginning Saturday, February 23, 2019, and continuing until July 2020, the east sidewalk and the entrance to City Hall on North Water Street will be closed. There will also only be one northbound traffic lane on the proper side of the road. A pedestrian walkway will be in place on North Water Street.
