National Avenue: Stage 2 Business Meeting

The City of Milwaukee, in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), are rebuilding W. National Avenue (WIS 59) from S. 39th to S. 27th Street to improve safety for all users.

The project anticipates entering Stage 2 during the week of September 14, with construction operations shifting to the north side of the street.

In collaboration with VIA CDC, join us for a neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 6-7:30 p.m. to receive an update on the project and ask questions directly to the project team. The meeting will be held at Elephant TKB, 3730 W. National Avenue, and will begin with a presentation a 6 p.m. Spanish interpretation will be available.
