The City of Milwaukee ADA Coordinator will help to resolve any disability access or discrimination issues for the City of Milwaukee. The City of Milwaukee will make every effort to ensure the identification and removal of barriers to accessibility in its facilities, programs/services/activities, and and/or streets/traffic for persons with disabilities such as:

  • Architectural Access: restrooms, doorways, counters heights, paths of travel, elevators, and drinking fountains; and building site curb ramps, slopes, curb cuts, sidewalks, parking, paths of travel, and handrails;
  • Public Right-of-Way: right-of-way, pedestrian crossing signals, pedestrian crosswalks;
  • Programs/Services/Activities: alternative means of communication, materials in alternative formats, service animals, meetings, voting, and payments.
