Named after famed Civil Rights leader Cesar E. Chavez, BID 38 is home to many cultural retail stores, restaurants and supermarkets. A statue of Cesar Chavez sits near the entrance to Cesar Chavez Drive to welcome visitors to the commercial district and the near south side.
