Progress at the former Northridge Mall continues
MILWAUKEE – The City of Milwaukee is offering members of the local media the opportunity to film the demolition of the former Northridge Mall on Thursday, January 30, 2025, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. (CT).
Veit & Company demolished the former Younkers store on the east end of the mall and began razing the former JCPenney store this week.
Environmental work continues inside the remaining part of the mall, and the City expects all mall buildings to be demolished by mid-summer. The project remains on schedule and on budget.

This is not a press conference, and City officials will not be on-site to answer questions. This is an opportunity to capture video and photos of the demolition. Access inside the buildings will not be granted.
