Milwaukee made history as the first city in America to create an official ‘Hip-Hop Week’ focusing on the power of Hip-Hop to help positively transform urban communities. The annual weeklong city-wide event celebrating the culture of Hip-Hop features performances, seminars, and an array of other events focused on civic engagement, voter registration, wellness and mental health, financial literacy, and exploring pathways to success.
