Virtual Landlord Training-Wednesday

The class is a five-hour overview of codes, statutes, best practices and documents used in the renting of residential property in Milwaukee and Wisconsin. There is a 100+-page manual, and certificate provided to registrants who: 1. attend the entire class; 2. Pass the 10-question quiz provided (i.e. ≤ 3 wrong upon first submission, OR after ALL the incorrect answers are repaired); 3. submit a completed two-page survey that will be provided.

This class is virtual. A Microsoft Meetings link and study materials will be sent upon registration. PLEASE DO NOT TRY AND REGISTER WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE CLASS; you will be placed in a later class (i.e. there is some required studying beforehand). For attendance purposes, you will need to Sign In with your name as you registered for the class* (*If you have a different Login Name in Meetings, you will need to click the "Need Help" link just below the link to the class, and change your name for attendance credit) The Landlord Training classes are FREE and held on a regular basis throughout the year in a virtual setting. The classes are generally two, 2.5 hour sessions with an hour break in-between (6 hours total). Attendees get a free 100+-page comprehensive manual on a variety of legal and business issues related to managing a property. (NOTE: The Class is meant only as an overview, and to provide sources for information relating to the business of landlording; legal advice cannot be administered). Taking notes is highly-recommended, and there is a survey, open-book quiz* and list of rental properties requirement** for a certificate (i.e. you will not receive a certificate without providing the necessary documents).
