Formed in 1980, Jonco Industries, Inc. operates out of five buildings that together offer complete, innovative, and practical marketing projects and products. Jonco prides itself for providing high quality and economically produced solutions to hundreds of clients. The building at 5611 W Mill Road functions as a contract packing facility for food grade products, including two Jonco-owned name brands, Great Skott and Fireworks Popcorn.
Jonco's standard practice is to revamp all new building acquisitions to reflect the newest upgrades available. 5611 W Mill Road utilized Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing during its renovation in order to be as financially and environmentally responsible as possible in the process. 5611 W Mill Road was the first Jonco building to take the Better Buildings Challenge pledge.

Since completing their PACE project in the fall of 2016, 5611 W Mill Road has been operating at 100% while continuing to increase their on-site equipment. At the time of project completion, the projected annual savings of the project were $35,280. Although the building does not yet have their ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager® account set up, Jonco looks forward to benchmarking and sharing their energy use data with the City in the near future.

Project Highlight: White Roof
Part of the 2016 PACE project included using solar reflective white coating on the roof of 5611 W Mill Road. This increases its solar reflectance index (SRI) and allows for up to 90% solar reflectance and 100% thermal emittance.
