Legislative Support to the Council

The City Clerk's Office provides a variety of services to support the legislative functions of the Milwaukee Common Council.

These include:

• Drafting, research and fiscal analysis services provided by the Legislative Reference Bureau.
• Staffing and record keeping for all meetings of the Council and its committees.
  Records and agendas can be viewed online.
• Publications and distribution of the City Charter and Code of Ordinances.
