Building in the City of Milwaukee
The City of Milwaukee adopts the the State of Wisconsin Building Code for Residential and Commercial Structures. A copy of this code is available electronically on the Wisconsin Department of Saftey and Professional Services (DSPS) website.

The Development Center is located at 809 N. Broadway, first floor. Parking is available at meter rates in the Milwaukee Center parking structure; the entrance is located on Kilbourn Avenue just west of Water Street. Our hours are 8:00 a.m. thru 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
All appeal matters relating to the zoning code are handled by the Board of Zoning Appeals.
