We need your help to ensure everyone in our Greater Milwaukee region, including our hard-to-reach population, is counted in the 2020 Census. Here is how you can get involved:
Pledge to be counted in the 2020 census and don’t miss your chance to have your voice heard. Wisconsin Voices, a partner of the Greater Milwaukee Complete Count Committee, is taking pledges from residents committed to completing the 2020 Census survey. By filling out and submitting their brief interest form you will be reminded to fill out your census survey when it is available and stay up to date on important information.
The U. S. Census Bureau is hiring for the 2020 Census. Starting salaries range from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour for both census office and census taker positions in Milwaukee County. Census workers also receive reimbursement for work-related mileage and expenses, where applicable. To be eligible, you must be 18 years old, a U. S. citizen and have a valid driver’s license. To apply, please visit 2020census.gov/jobs.
In preparation for the 2020 Census, Mayor Tom Barrett formed the Greater Milwaukee Complete Count Committee (CCC). The CCC is made up of local community and government leaders dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of the census among all residents. Learn more about the CCC and current partners.
If you are interested in becoming a partner of the Greater Milwaukee Complete Count Committee (CCC), please fill out the interest form below or contact the City of Milwaukee Department of Administration at 414-286-8702 or [email protected]
