Equitable Growth Through Transit Oriented Development
Moving Milwaukee Forward offers a new neighborhood framework for attracting investment, enhancing connectivity and reinforcing neighborhood identity through the future expansion of the Milwaukee Streetcar system to Historic Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (King Drive) and to Walker's Point, extending investment from Downtown into these neighborhoods.

View the charette of the Historic Dr Martin Luther King Dr Drive area and see key opportunity sites that were discussed in the focus groups of the charette. This study was done by UW-Milwaukee with the help of the MLK Econmic Development Corporation and MLK BID. 
     


Northeast Side Area Plan
The Northeast Side Area Plan covers a broad and diverse segment of Milwaukee from Riverworks and UWM on the north to Brewers Hill and Brady Street on the south, Bronzeville and King Drive on the west to the lakefront (Bradford Beach to Pier Wisconsin) on the east.

 


Anti-Displacement Plan
The Anti-Displacement Plan analyzes neighborhood market and demographic data to determine to what degree displacement may be occurring in Milwaukee neighborhoods.  It also offers a series of recommendations to help reduce the potential for displacement.
