2026 applications period is closed.

Program Information:

• Interns earn $16.00 per hour.
• Interns work Monday through Friday 20 hours per week. [A maximum of 160 hours for the duration of the internship
• The internship work assignment begins Thursday, June 18th and ends Friday, August 14th.
• Interns must commit to work the entire 8-week program.  Applicants with plans for summer school, summer camps, family reunions, or who are unable to work the entire 8-week internship are asked not to apply.

Check the requirements below before you apply:

• Youth must be between age 16 (as of June 15, 2026) to 19 years-old.
  • Priority is given to place high school juniors and seniors that have not previously participated in the program.
• Applicants must live in the City of Milwaukee.
