Meter Replacement Program

The Milwaukee Water Works is replacing residential water meters in Milwaukee, Greenfield, Hales Corners, St. Francis, and West Milwaukee during the next several years.

Water Treatment Solicitors

Frequently, private water treatment companies not associated with the Milwaukee Water Works will go door-to-door offering to test the tap water. Or, they leave behind a door hanger asking you to call them. We do not endorse these private companies and you are not required to have your water tested or purchase their systems.

You are not required to purchase water or sewer line insurance

A company named Service Line Warranties of America is mailing letters to Milwaukee properties trying to sell "Water Service Line Insurance." You are not required to purchase this. What they call "voluntary coverage" is not free. Check with your property insurance company. The City of Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Water Works do not endorse these policies or this company.
