A company named Service Line Warranties of America is mailing letters to Milwaukee properties trying to sell "Service Line Insurance." You are not required to purchase this. The City of Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Water Works do not endorse this company. Read more at the link above.

Be aware of scam artists posing as utility employees

We had a report late last month of a man posing as a water utility employee who gained access to a home in the 200 block of South 92nd Street without showing identification. Police responded to a call from the home. Milwaukee Water Works and all other utility employees who meet with customers are first required to show their photo identification card. If someone does not show it to you, they are not one of our employees. Click Be Aware above for more information.

Meter Replacement Program

The Milwaukee Water Works is replacing residential water meters in Milwaukee, Greenfield, Hales Corners, St. Francis, and West Milwaukee during the next several years.
