WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION

The City of Milwaukee works to minimize impact for businesses, residents and the traveling public during construction.

Traffic: Two lanes of traffic in each direction will be maintained. We advise the traveling public to allow for extra time while traveling to and from this neighborhood.

Parking: On-street parking will be temporarily removed during construction.

Pedestrian Access: Pedestrian access will be maintained to abutting properties and businesses during construction with the least amount of inconvenience. Short-term disruptions will occur for pedestrian curb ramp construction on the north side of West Capitol Drive at North 34th and North 35th streets.

Bus Route: The Milwaukee County Transit System will continue the operation of bus routes #6, 35, 61 and the RedLine during construction.

Construction Hours: Work is allowed from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
