Mayor Johnson Signs Off on New Food Truck Ordinance
Mayor Cavalier Johnson will affirm his support of the newly passed food truck legislation at a signing ceremony on Wednesday. The Mayor will be joined by legislative sponsors Alderman Jonathan Brostoff and Alderwoman Jocasta Zamarripa. Food trucks will also be present for the signing.
File number 220413, is a multi-part ordinance designed to bring additional order to an often-chaotic food truck sector of the economy. The new restrictions designate locations, times, and expectations for food truck operations in addition to increasing consequences for violating the ordinance.
