Mayor Johnson, Chief Norman, OVP Director Hamilton Share Updated Crime Numbers
In a news conference on Thursday morning, Mayor Cavalier Johnson, Police Chief Jeffrey Norman, and Violence Prevention Director Ashanti Hamilton will share updated numbers on crime in Milwaukee. The data includes incidents reported through the first half of 2023 and a comparison to the numbers from this time last year.
“Our combined efforts to improve public safety are showing positive results. We will share the numbers and talk about our continuing efforts to drive crime down,” Mayor Johnson said.
