Mayor of Milwaukee Kicks off MKE Peace Week with a Peace Walk
WHAT: Mayor Cavalier Johnson to participate in a Peace Walk to kick off MKE Peace Week. This walk is symbolic of the continuing efforts to reduce violence in our neighborhoods throughout the entire City of Milwaukee. The event will start with a press conference that includes the City of Milwaukee Office of Violence Prevention announcing the MKE Promise Keepers Program. The press conference will be followed by a calming breathing exercise led by a neighborhood yogi and then the peace walk will start.
