Starting January 1, 2024, personal property is exempt from taxation in Wisconsin. This is a result of 2023 Wisconsin Act 12 (pdf).
Owners of personal property do not need to submit a 2024 personal property return form to the City of Milwaukee.
Exempt personal property will not have a 2024 assessment or 2024 property tax bill.
